The trends in wall colors for 2020 according to Benjamin Moore are mainly focused on natural and pastel shades. These natural shades are however, not restricted to the classic beige, cream, brown and gray, but they come in new combinations with colors like olive green, powder pink, blue and yellow, in such proportions that they remain natural, while at the same time bringing the desired freshness and vitality to our space. As Benjamin Moore looked forward to the new decade, they searched for a color that could capture their optimism for the next 10 years. According to Andrea Magno, Director of Color Marketing, "When you look at a color over time, there is often a direct relationship between what shades are popular and what is happening in the world. At the brink of 2020 we just thought: Let's be upbeat, let's be happy " .
Regarding Pantone's proposals for spring 2020, they are around similar shades, but bolder tones and primary colors (blue, red and yellow) appear to star in the trends.
